CONDADO
El Condado is one of the most vibrant cities in the region of San Juan, Puerto Rico. This city mainly caters to the people belonging to the upper class community in the region and its eastern border is surrounded by De Diego Avenue which extends up to the Atlantic coast. The city has a large number of beaches, hotels and nightclubs. Other attractions include casinos and large shopping malls which make it a preferred destination among the tourists.
This city is extremely expensive as far as the property rates are concerned and caters to the super-rich class of Puerto Rico. Some of the most high- fashion and costly boutiques are located in this region of Puerto Rico, such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo among several others. The region is famous for its several landmark sites, such as the Antonia Quinones Park which is also known as the Placita del Condado, Plaza del Ancla and Parque del Indio.
The life of people living in the region of Condado is pretty relaxed with loads of beach activities to indulge in. people living in this region can be seen indulging in various sports and activities near the beach, such as snorkeling, swimming and boating among several others.
Though the number of people residing here is pretty large, most of them reside in condoniums while the number of houses here are extremely limited. This is one region of Puerto Rico which is immensely influenced by the westernized “American” culture and most of the population prefers speaking in English rather than Spanish.
The schools located in the region of Condado are extremely modern and some of the best educational intuitions are located in this region of Puerto Rico.

There are various lodging options in the region of Condado, ranging from luxurious hotels, such as The Marriott among others. Other facilities for accommodation include guesthouses, inns and rooms on twin shared basis.
Travel
Traveling in Condado is relatively convenient as this place has fairly good network of road transport, highways, is well connected to the airport and other ports and beaches in Puerto Rico.
